This has to use some sort of infrared camera cuz touchscreens like the touch use thousands of wires that recognize humidity from a finger touch. They use similar technology in safety mechanisms on newer table saws however I'd LOVE to have a desk like that

That's not touch screen. The bar is just a little transparent, and there are cameras underneath that light up the surface where the cameras can see shadows.
